Introduction

The BA English Language and Literature is an undergraduate degree program. The students of BA English Language and Literature will focus primarily on English proficiency by learning in detail how the language is structured and will become familiar with almost all the literary works and Genres. It provides career opportunities ranging from editor to academic and legal advisor to manager. The media industry comprises smaller industries and its domain extends into film industry, television, newspaper, news blogs, advertising, and even reviews on games, which pave the way to an English literature aspirant to become a professional in such fields or to produce, write, edit, create and review things all by himself.

Duration

  • Duration of the BA English Literature program is three years and has Semester wise Examination Category.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pass in 10+2 with minimum 50% marks or equivalent.
  • Candidates should have passed class 10+2 with minimum 50% marks from any recognized education board.
  • Candidates should be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission and the upper age limit is 25 years.
