Introduction

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Technology provides enough knowledge to students to handle both hardware and software. This course deals with computer specific part of Information Technology.
Computer technology (CT) is the use and study of computers, networks, computer languages, and databases within an organization to solve real problems. The major prepares students for applications programming, networking, systems administration, and internet development.
It opens up avenues in various sectors including those specializing in hardware or software technology. Several globally reputed colleges offer this course and they all share a basic approach towards it.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that overall employment in information technology and computer positions will grow 15 percent between 2021 and 2031. This increase is markedly faster than the average for all other non-tech occupations.
