Description :Our Cheran College of Women, Tirupur celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2023, Mrs. V. Kiruthiga, Head – Department of Tamil, delivered the inaugural speech. Our principal, Dr. K. R. Nanthagobal, in his special address highlighted the importance of education for women. Our special guest Dr. R. Rajammal, Chief Administrative Officer, Sarvalayam, Vellakovil delivered a keynote address on ‘Empowerment of Women’. Finally, the vote of thanks was offered by Ms. V. Jayanthi, Assistant Professor – Department of Computer Science.
